Healthy Lifestyle:Lose Weight The Natural Way.

NOTHING IN LIFE COMES EASY, YOU HAVE TO WORK HARD!!!
(Please, Take Note)

Most of girls have the same problems with me with regards to figure. Growing up, I have been or always been a chubby girl, call it insecurity but this is one of my problem before. However, while I was still a student, my parents would not allow me to go on a 'diet' because a lot of people think diet as not eating at all. But during my last year in college, I have seriously shred some kg, but I gained it back while I was having my training at Malaysia.

That was a MISTAKE! for almost 6 months, I kept on eating more calories, less exercise or I admit, NO exercise at all. So when I came back, I couldn't help but eat.eat. and eat because I was used to. And because of that I kept on having this rant inside my mind saying how fat I look, my bulging belly, double chin and flabs all over. :(

It has been 1 month and some couple of days since I engaged my self with work-out, I did not enroll myself to a gym because I believe that what I can do inside gym, I can also do it at our house. :)
Enough with the talking Van, Start the Healthy Lifestyle checklist:

1. EAT CLEAN. What is eating clean?

Eating clean means not eating processed foods, stay away with junk foods, fried foods, and processed foods. They contain calories that will make your body cry. So, what are those foods that you have to eat instead? VEGETABLES and FRUITS WILL BE YOUR FAVORITE FROM NOW ON. Trust me, you will look for these foods the moment you embrace this lifestyle.

2. DRINK A LOT OF WATER. Drink Nothing But Water.

Water keeps your body hydrated; it also gives an answer to your hungry tummy. Try drinking at least 2 glasses of water before eating, by doing so, it'll help you feel full and eat less.

3. EAT 5x A DAY.

For some reasons, people think that when you are on a diet, you are eating less than 3x a day.
When actually, YOU SHOULD NOT SKIP MEALS. One Quick Trivia: Skipping Meals leads to slowing down of your metabolism and you're not burning calories like you should. So your body thinks that you are starving, so when you eat again, your body stores away more than usual resulting in MORE FAT.

You have to EAT.. EAT THE HEALTHY FOODS of course. You have to eat 5x a day, small serving of FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. Start your day with breakfast between 7am-9am, fruit snack, a banana or some apples, Lunch between 11 am- 1pm, fruit snack then dinner. If you feel hungry before bedtime, go ahead grab a food, but remember to choose the healthy ones. A banana of some apples will never hurt you. :)

4. SLEEPING 8 HOURS A DAY

Studies shows that the more you lack sleep, you like to eat MORE! So please, try sleeping 8 hours per day or 7-8 hours.

5. EXERCISE!!!

This is the most effective thing: EXERCISE! Do you want to get rid of those muffintop? Do you want to have a toned arms, legs and body? Then Move! A simple walking, climbing of stairs, running or jogging will do. Everything is good as long as you sweat. If you feel some sore the next morning, BETTER! That means those parts of your body that are on pain are working. :)) The more sweat you feel, THE BETTER.

How about thinking this way:Exercise to have fun and Be healthy, Not Just Losing Weight.
If you will think this way, then it would be easier for you to embrace this kind of lifestyle. :)

*If you think you are lazy and you just want to lay-down all day eat your YOLO Foods, then nothing will change, well, except for your WEIGHT, let's say, 5-lb added to your weight, YOU LIKE THAT? NO.

So, WORK HARDER and FEEL GREAT AFTER.

Note: I am not a nutritionist, dietitian, nor professional instructor. I am just sharing my own lifestyle.
To make you inspired, I lost 2kg for almost 2 months. It's not that much but If I am going to continue all the way, for I know, in the future I will reach my desired weight and everything is going to be worth it.

Let's get Fit Together.

Love,
Vanessa
